How do you know if a contest is available and, if one is, what do you need to do to take part?
It's really simple!
Where Are My Contests Located?
As soon as you're eligible for a contest, a new option will appear on your homepage's menu:
Select "Contests" to see what contest(s) are available to you!
On the Contests page you'll find a list of contests that are coming up/currently happening ("Active Contests"), as well as any contests that have ended ("Closed Contests").
Select a contest's "Details" button to get more information!
Contest Details
- Time Period and Description -
On each individual contest's page, you'll find an overview of how long the contest is active for (its "open period"), as well as what the contest itself entails!
- Available Entry Opportunities -
You'll also find an overview of how many contest entries you've earned for your available entry opportunities.
More entries earned means more chances to win, so learners should aim to complete all available actions to get the max number of entries!!
Earning Entries
- Skill-Based Entries -
These entries are earned by completing Steps that reward skill points. Each skill point earned is equal to one entry and is awarded based on the grade you earn for that Step!
You'll find a list of all the Steps/skill points that will count toward the contest under the "Skill Based Points" sub-menu.
Here you'll find each Step's details, along with both the grade and number of skill point entries earned for each one since the contest began. You can select Steps directly from this page and replay as often as you wish to earn the maximum number of points available.
Note: any training game playthroughs that occurred before the contest period began is not counted toward the contest - you'll have to replay those Steps to earn those points!
- Special Entries -
Special points are earned by successfully completing specific tasks outside of LemonadeLXP, such as submitting a form or achieving an online goal.
Available tasks will tie into real-world behaviour and will vary depending on what the administrator wishes to include. For example, if a contest focuses on your ability to create opportunities and referrals, your special point opportunities could include points earned for every valid opportunity and/or referral you submit through your company's software!
When a Contest Ends
Once a contest has reached the end of its open period, it will move to the "Closed Contests" section of the Contests page and learners will no longer be able to earn additional entries for the contest.
An admin will draw a random winner from the pool of eligible learners. The more entries a single learner has earned means more chances to win, but there is no guarantee of winning even if a learner maxes out the number of entries they receive.
Once drawn, the winner will be contacted to confirm they have won!
