Every time you create a new Step or Course, or other key events occur in your instance, you can automatically notify users via email!
To enable/disable this, head over to /admin and:
SELECT "SETTINGS"
SELECT "Config"
SCROLL TO THE MIDDLE of the Config Wizard to find "Messaging Controls"
Disable Email Notifications
uncheck to automatically send notifications for key events
check to disable (no one will be notified of any key events)
How it works
When enabled, users will get notifications if/when they:
register
submit a password reset request
start or continue written feedback for a Step
have new content available to play in their Group (either a new Step or Course!)
