So you’re not happy with the end result, or it had a good run and it's time to go. When a Skill, Step, or Course needs to be changed or removed, there’s not much to it.

Edit

To change something in an existing item:

  • MOUSE-OVER its box

  • SELECT the pencil icon

  • EDIT as needed

It will always go to the first step of the process, so be sure to SELECT "NEXT" until you can "SAVE" at the end!

Retire

To remove something without actually deleting it, either:

  • MOUSE-OVER its box, and

  • SELECT the trash icon

-or-

  • SELECT the pencil icon, and

  • SELECT “Retire” (top-right)

Whichever way you choose, a box asking if you’re sure you want to retire the course will pop up. CONFIRM to hide it in the system.

NOTE: Retiring a Step or Course will remove it from the learner platform (it will no longer be playable), but will still keep it and all associated data (including learner grades and play history) in your instance records.

Reenable

You retired something but changed your mind? Bring it back anytime!

On the main page:

  • MOUSE-OVER the box

  • SELECT the pencil icon

  • CHOOSE “Reenable” (top-right)

  • CONFIRM to bring it back

Delete

When you want to completely remove something, retire it first. When you do, the system will bring you back to the main page.

From there:

  • MOUSE-OVER the box

  • SELECT the pencil icon

  • CHOOSE “Remove” at the top-right of the page

  • CONFIRM to never see it again

For Courses, be sure to modify any linked Triggers and Certifications that may be affected by its deletion.

REMEMBER! Deletion is permanent! All data associated with it will disappear, including learner play history and associated grades, so make sure you definitely don't want it before it's gone for good.
