Every night, the platform recalculates your score and updates your position on the leaderboard. Understanding how this works will help you climb faster β and protect the rank you've already earned.
Your Score at a Glance
Your position on the leaderboard is determined primarily by your total points, which flow from customers β the in-game currency you accumulate through learning and upgrades. The more customers you have working for you, the faster your points grow, even while you sleep.
Think of it as a business: your customers generate revenue (points) continuously, and your job is to grow that customer base as fast as possible.
How You Earn Customers and Points
Completing Training Steps
Every time you complete a step, you earn customers. How many depends on how well you do:
Scores above 50% β you earn customers proportional to your grade. A higher score means more customers. Aim for 100% to maximize every completion.
Scores between 30β50% β you lose a small number of customers.
Scores between 10β30% β you lose more customers.
Scores below 10% β you lose the most customers per attempt.
The lesson is simple: quality beats quantity. A single high-scoring completion is worth far more than multiple poor ones.
Bonus Customers
There is a random chance on each step completion to earn a bonus batch of customers on top of your base reward. Certain upgrades increase both the frequency and size of these bonuses, so investing in them pays off over time.
Diminishing Returns on Repeated Steps
If you replay the same step many times in a short window, the reward per completion decreases progressively. The system is designed to reward breadth of learning β completing more unique steps will serve you better than grinding a single one. Your administrators can adjust the rate at which diminishing returns increase.
Upgrades (Boosters)
The in-game shop offers upgrades across several categories. These are permanent improvements that compound over time:
Passive generators β add a steady stream of points per second, regardless of whether you are logged in.
Customer boosters β increase how many customers you receive from training and nightly bonuses.
Chance upgrades β raise the likelihood and value of bonus customers when you complete steps.
Mitigation upgrades β protect you against losses (see Churn below).
Upgrades are purchased with your customers, so there is a trade-off between spending now for future gains and holding your balance. Generally, investing early in passive generators and customer boosters accelerates growth the most.
Levels
Your level is determined by your total customer count. Higher levels unlock a larger nightly bonus cap, meaning you can gain more customers each night simply by staying engaged.
You reach new levels at these milestones:
Level | Customers Needed |
1 | Starting level |
2 | 500 |
3 | 3,500 |
4 | 7,000 |
5 | 12,000 |
6 | 18,000 |
7 | 25,000 |
8 | 33,000 |
9 | 42,000 |
10 | 52,000 |
Each level also increases the nightly bonus you receive for consistent performance. Reaching higher levels quickly is one of the best ways to accelerate your climb.
Note: Reaching Level 5 is a significant milestone β it unlocks higher bonuses, but it also means the nightly churn mechanic begins to apply (see below).
The Nightly Recalculation
Each weeknight (read: no weekend bonuses), the platform runs a recalculation for every learner. This does several things:
Awards your nightly bonus β based on your average grade and your current level's bonus cap. Learners with higher grades and higher levels earn more customers overnight.
Applies churn β at Level 5 and above, absences and missed perfect scores result in customer losses (see below).
Updates your leaderboard position β based on your new total points.
This means the leaderboard is a living competition. Even if you don't log in, other learners are gaining ground β and if you are at Level 5+, you may be losing it too.
Churn: How Inactivity Hurts You at Higher Levels
Once you reach Level 5, a protective mechanism is removed and a new risk appears: churn.
Churn is a nightly customer loss that occurs when:
You have been absent (not logging in and scoring well), and
You have not achieved 5 perfect scores on each of your repeatable, graded training steps.
What "Perfect Score" Means
A perfect score is a 100% grade on a step. Each repeatable step in your training path needs to be completed with a perfect score at least 5 times to be considered "locked in." Steps that have not been locked are vulnerable β if you are absent, you will lose customers tied to those unlocked steps overnight.
How Much You Lose
The amount you lose each night scales with:
Your average grade across your courses β lower grades mean larger losses.
The number of business days you have been absent β the longer you are away, the larger the penalty.
Your current level β higher-level players are exposed to larger swings in both directions.
The system is intentionally volatile at higher levels: you can gain or lose customers, and the randomness increases with absence. Active, high-performing learners at Level 5+ will generally gain customers nightly; inactive ones will watch their totals erode.
Churn Mitigation
Certain upgrades in the shop reduce your churn losses. If you are at Level 5 or above and concerned about protecting your rank during a period when you know you will be less active, investing in mitigation upgrades is worth considering.
Skill Points
Alongside your main leaderboard score, you also accumulate skill points by completing steps tied to particular skills. Skill points are displayed on the leaderboard as a secondary indicator of your breadth of knowledge.
Skill points can also erode overnight under the same conditions as churn β if you are absent and have not locked in perfect scores, you may lose skill points in addition to customers.
Tips for Climbing Fast
Complete steps with high scores. Every percentage point above 50% directly increases how many customers you earn. Aim for 100%.
Train regularly. Absent days reduce your nightly bonus and, at Level 5+, expose you to churn losses that compound over time.
Lock in your steps. Earn 5 perfect scores on each repeatable step to protect yourself from churn erosion.
Invest in upgrades early. Passive generators and customer boosters compound over time. The earlier you buy them, the more they contribute to your total score.
Prioritize mitigation at Level 5+. If you cannot guarantee daily logins, mitigation upgrades will soften the nightly losses.
Spread your learning. Because repeated completions of the same step yield diminishing returns, completing a wider range of steps earns you more customers and more skill points.
Reach Level 5 as fast as possible. The bonus cap at Level 5 is 50 customers per night, compared to just 10 at Level 1. The faster you level up, the faster your nightly gains scale.
