📌 Why It Matters
A clean, intuitive Digital Academy makes it easier for customers and staff to quickly find the tutorials they need—saving time and improving their experience.
The key? Clear, purposeful categories for your demos and video tutorials.
🔎 Note: A demo or video can only belong to one category in the Academy.
🧠 Best Practices for Organizing Your Content
These aren’t hard rules—just tried-and-true tips that make navigation smoother and more intuitive:
1. More Tutorials = More Categories
Avoid overstuffing! If a category feels crowded, break it up.
✅ We recommend keeping each category to 10–12 tutorials max.
2. Separate Mobile vs. Online Tutorials
This gives users a clear starting point, based on where they’re completing the task.
✅ Create distinct categories for Online and Mobile versions of the same services.
💡 Exception: If there are only a few tutorials in the category, it's okay to mix both platforms (e.g., in a “Business Banking” category).
3. Keep Related Categories Together
Group categories with similar themes to reduce user effort. A few approaches:
By function:
“Pay Bills – Online”
“Pay Bills – Mobile”
By platform:
Group all Online categories, then Mobile categories
4. Order Tutorials Logically
Arrange tutorials in a natural, step-by-step order.
❌ Don’t put "Delete a Payee" before "Add a Payee"!
5. Link Related Tutorials
Beyond categories, use Suggested Content to surface related tutorials at the end of each step.
