Your instance is customized, you've created (or are creating) grade-A content, and you have a great new training platform. The only thing is, none of your learners know about it...
Promoting LemonadeLXP before, at, and after launch is crucial. You're bringing an online game into the workplace, this is big! You want to get people excited to try it out and then ensure that employees stay engaged well after initial contact.
This article will enable you to ensure your instance of LemonadeLXP launches and runs smoothly.
Prelaunch
Nearly every successful launch is supported by prelaunch promotion. It's on you to get people interested and build some anticipation for the launch.
But, promoting training can be difficult... Training is usually boring and not something most people get excited for. Games on the other hand... Games are fun! But, "games" and corporate culture aren't known to mingle.
In this prelaunch period, you're going to want to express to employees that new training is coming, and that it's going to look like nothing they've seen before.
Send out communications and build hype!
We suggest starting your prelaunch campaign at least 3 weeks before launch. You don't want to start so early that people are tired of hearing about it by the time that comes around, but you want early enough to build a little anticipation.
Make use of your internal communication tools to let people know that a new way of learning is coming down the pipeline. The idea is to start a conversation and communicate the general concept of LemonadeLXP. Do so through:

Launch
The hype has been built! People know it’s coming, and now it's time to let them know how to get to the platform and start with a splash.
This is more about getting people in the doors, and ensuring that they are set up to be comfortable, confident, and engaged with the new platform.
Send out communications!

CEO playing LemonadeLXP
The optics surrounding employees having a “game” on their screen can act as a barrier for participation.
Note that this is only really an issue if supervisors and managers aren’t onboard. We suggest communicating what is to come to the masses! Make use of your senior positions and management to let people know training within the company has changed!
If possible, send a video of a recognized management figure playing LemonadeLXP. This will help further encourage people to use LemonadeLXP and help condone having a “game” on your screen during work hours.
Wrap a contest around it!!
Give people a little extra push by rewarding the top 5 participants with a prize at the end of 3 months. Prizes can be anything you’d like, from gift cards, a lunch with the CEO, to simple recognition. You’d be surprised how far a pat on the back can get you!
Post-Launch
Communication throughout the first few months is imperative. You need to keep people engaged! The system has the ability to notify users when new courses are released, however, we suggest supplementing your release strategy with a solid communication plan.
