Welcome to the Employee Wellness Curriculum. These curricula serve as guides, aiming to help admins create lesson plans using content found on the Content Exchange!
The Curriculum
Takes ~1-2h to build using material from the Content Exchange.
Even before the COVID-19 pandemic, employee wellness was a hot topic in the corporate world, inspiring companies like Google to supercharge their employee experiences! Many employers have implemented both mental and physical health initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life within the workplace and at home.
This curriculum is designed to educate employees, from the front-line to CEOs, on how to better maintain their own well-being, as well as foster it in their coworkers.
Key themes include promoting safe and inclusive spaces in the workplace and self-care.

Tip: Adding skills to your course is a great way to monitor success and engage learners!
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
DEI (a.k.a. EDI), is a term that has been gaining momentum for all the right reasons. The DEI training in this curriculum helps define what these three concepts are, and how we can embrace diversity, work towards universal feelings of inclusion, and ensure that everyone is given the resources they need to have an equal opportunity for success.
Specific topics include the correct use of pronouns and inclusive language, assessment of personal biases, types of discrimination that many of us are not aware of, and tips to work towards building a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace!
Mental Wellness During a PandemicWhether it be related to isolation, supporting loved ones, or the overhanging stress of the virus, more people than not have reported that the pandemic has negatively impacted their mental well-being. Now more than ever it is important for us to protect our mental well-being, and support those around us. This curriculum features several steps addressing what we can do for mental health in the time of a Pandemic, and beyond. |
Using Triggers
Several of our curricula encourage admins to create Triggers, and we encourage them here as well.
However, given the nature of this content, we suggest you consider what it is you are hiding behind these triggers. For example, if an employee would really benefit from mental health training right away, it could be damaging to require a course on working from home to be completed first. For this reason, we suggest that the first course under each topic be left available at all times, and not locked behind a trigger.
Note - Wellness is a big topic, and can be looked at in several ways (physical, social, mental, financial, and more). This curriculum only touches on a few aspects, and more content is always being written and updated.
