Mr. Lemaire is being picky!

The Situation:

Mr. Lemaire wants many groups on the platform, and for some reason doesn’t want them to “know about each others' existences!”

The Challenge:

He has asked that you offer an “off the shelf” version where every group that registers has access to the same content, BUT, he would also like to be able to create different training for each group…Now remember, they can’t know about each other!

Try these ones!:

Just Show Me How!

Follow the steps as shown below...

PART 1: Create and set a default group for all learners!

1) Go to the "Learners"/"Groups" page to create a new group

Admin Panel Learners Groups Page

2) Create a general "Learners" group and set to "free registration"

Create Learners Group

3) Add translations for "Learners" group name and save

Add Learner Group Translation

4) Go to "Learners"/"Manage" and set "Auto Group Membership" to "Learners"

Set Automatic Group Membership to Learners Group

PART 2: Create additional groups!

1) Go to the "Learners"/"Groups" page to create a new group

Admin Panel Learners/Groups Page

2) Create your first group and set free registration to "No"

Create New Group

3) Create and repeat for remaining groups

Create Remaining Groups

PART 3: Hide learners' existence from each other!

1) Go to the second page of "Settings"/"Config"

Admin Panel Settings/Config Page 2

2) Disable Colleagues and Leaderboard pages, then save

Disable Leaderboards and Colleagues Page

Fantastic!

Mr. Lemaire is pleased to see that all registrants will automatically be added to the Learners group, which will be used for all shared content! The additional separate groups has made it easy for him (and any other admin) to assign each group their own unique training games that the others won't be aware of.

With both the Colleagues and Leaderboard pages disabled, Mr. Lemaire has approvingly observed that neither option appears on the learner's platform and as such he cannot find any evidence that anyone else is using LemonadeLXP.
