InsightAI helps you build training content that stays accurate, consistent, and aligned with your organization’s knowledge—without the usual heavy lifting. Instead of manually rewriting steps or hunting through documents, Collections and Blueprints let you automatically generate and refresh learning materials based on your uploaded content.
This keeps your courses current, reduces rework, and supports compliance in fast-changing environments.
📁 Upload Your Source Material First
Before you begin creating content, make sure your policies, procedures, guides, and product documentation are uploaded into InsightAI. These files act as your single source of truth.
Once your documents are uploaded, InsightAI indexes and syncs them. When something changes, simply update the file and re-sync—InsightAI will use the newest version automatically.
🗂 What Are Collections?
Collections are containers that hold groups of related Blueprints. They help you organize your content strategy and make it easy to re-generate multiple steps after updating your source material.
Each Collection has two tabs:
Details:
Give your Collection a clear name and description so you can easily identify its focus.
Author:
Batch-author or re-author all Blueprints within the Collection—ideal when source material is updated.
👉 To create a Collection:
Go to Blueprints in InsightAI → click the '+' button → choose Collection.
🧩 What Are Blueprints?
Blueprints are the core instructions InsightAI uses to generate each step of your learning content. They tell InsightAI what to create and which information to use.
Each Blueprint includes:
Blueprint Name — becomes the step title.
Content Module — defines the type of step (text, quiz, scenario, etc.).
Generative Prompt — the key instruction set InsightAI uses to synthesize knowledge.
Options — controls to guide AI behavior.
For best results, create one Blueprint per step. This ensures your content stays modular, maintainable, and easy to update.
👉 To create a Blueprint:
Go to Blueprints → select a Collection → click the + → choose Blueprint → add the name, step type, and prompt → Save.
✏️ Writing Strong Blueprint Prompts
A well-crafted prompt helps InsightAI target the right information. Prompts should be crafted to clarify existing knowledge, instead of producing a specified output.
Great prompts are:
Focused on a single subject
Based on keywords found in your uploaded content
About the knowledge, not formatting or step types
Free of multiple unrelated topics
Clear about what InsightAI should investigate or summarize
InsightAI does not pull information from the internet. If key material isn’t in your files, it won’t invent facts to fill gaps.
🔍 The Synthesis Tab
The Synthesis tab displays the draft source text InsightAI creates from your prompt and your uploaded documents.
Here, you can:
Generate or regenerate content
Edit the draft
Review previous synthesis versions
Save a finalized version
Fine-tune your prompt if needed
If the output isn’t quite right, refine the prompt or confirm that the relevant documents are uploaded.
👉 To generate your draft:
Open your Blueprint → click Synthesize Source Text.
📚 The References Tab
The References tab shows exactly which uploaded documents InsightAI relied on during synthesis.
If something important is missing, try:
Adding more specific keywords
Using terminology from your documents
Confirming you've uploaded the right files
This helps InsightAI pinpoint and pull in the material you want represented.
🛠 Authoring and Editing Steps
Once your synthesis looks good, click Author to generate a learner-facing step.
After InsightAI creates the step, you can:
Review and edit it
Preview with Test Play
Compare versions in the Revisions tab
Re-author steps whenever your content changes
👉 A simple workflow:
Synthesize → Review → Author → Test → Refine → Publish
