How Does a 'Seat' in a 'License' Work?

It doesn't involve a chair...or maybe it does!

Seats

Think of it like you're renting a building.

When you choose your building, you need to know how many people will be using it to get the right size with the right amount of seats.

Let's say you need a space to teach 500 students. Some examples of better (and worse) building choices would be...

Better:

  • 600 seats

  • 500 seats

Worse:

  • 499 seats

  • 50 seats

You can always go with more seats in case other students will attend - the more the merrier! But if you have more students than seats, those who can't sit their virtual butt down will be stuck outside the building with no way to learn anything.

License

With LemonadeLXP, you're getting a license to "rent" a virtual school.

To make sure you get the best space for your needs, consider that:

  • your license is for 1 school

  • each school comes with a fixed number of seats

  • each seat can hold 1 unique student (and their records)

So long as you figure out the number of students you expect to enroll in your school, you will know how many seats your license should include.

Anniversary date

One year after the day you opened your school's virtual doors, and every year after, it'll be time to renew your license. Keep your school open so you can continue to train and educate your students to the max!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I delete a user and reassign their seat to someone else?

Absolutely! Just remember that when they go, they will also take all their learner data with them (including analytics), leaving no trace behind.

Once you delete a user, everything about them is gone for good!
